You want an AI that can out think a human, that for starters is very difficult and to my knowledge no.easily acquirable game has managed it yet. I think your vastly underestimating how hard it would be for them to make the AI, "Comptentent" in the way you want. They're old, and a few don't work anymore, but most still do. Make an AI competent, and you won't even need cheats to provide entertaining challenge.įortunately there's mods in the workshop to rip out the AI cheats. Guess where this game clocks in? And no, don't think you can hide cheats from gamers. Still can't put up a fight even though on massive cheat-life-support.
Not Incompetent, supported by blatant cheats. Not Incompetent, but supported with mostly-hidden cheats.
Very basic strategies, easy to counter, but still not cheating. Competent at the game, actually able to surprise me, and all without any cheats.
